FDL has both materials for studies and technical facilities.

The educational process uses both conventional (printed) and innovative means of teaching based on computer technologies and telecommunication.

Textbooks have convenient, user-friendly structure: theoretical part, practical assignments, control questions and tests for checking the knowledge.

The teaching being conducted with the use of information technologies, the process of teaching involves:

• using materials for studies placed on the site of FDL;
• working with interactive computer textbooks specially created for distance learning;
• on-line testing;
• communicating with the teacher through e-mail.

Taking tests and exams is arranged in a traditional way after the student has successfully passed computer testing on the course.
